World Day of Social Justice, Are We Building Systems that Truly Reduce Inequality?

Observed on 20 February, World Day of Social Justice highlights the need to eradicate poverty, promote decent work, ensure gender equality, and strengthen social protection systems.

Its purpose is grounded in economic and structural reform.

Persistent inequality is often linked to:

  • Limited employment security
  • Unequal pay and opportunity
  • Restricted access to healthcare
  • Weak social protection frameworks

Addressing these challenges requires policy clarity, accountability, and inclusive system design.

Insights shared at My Patient Advice demonstrate how healthcare access directly affects employment stability and long-term wellbeing.

Social justice depends on practical reform, not symbolic recognition.
